Journal of Go Studies 2024 Vol. 18 No. 2, Special Issue
Understanding AI in the Go World

We invite contributions to a special issue on "Understanding AI in the Go World" by the Journal of Go Studies. This special issue arises from the research that will be presented at the international conference in Toulouse this summer.

We encourage the submission of papers that are scheduled to be discussed and polished at the conference, with the requirement that the authors will have made significant extensions compared to the already presented version of the study.

Possible topics of interest include but are not limited to AI, deep learning, neural networks, and their impact on:

• Go strategies/tactics
• Innovation in learning or knowledge systems
• Humanistic vision or perspective on Go
• Human player’s decision-making
• Human-technology interaction
• Cultural, social, and cognitive aspects
• Ethical issues

We also welcome theoretical, conceptual, as well as rigorous empirical contributions that address implications for Go studies in general.

Key Dates

• October 4, 2024: Submission of abstracts (500 words to be sent to badukstudies@gmail.com)
• November 8, 2024: Submission of complete articles due
• December 6, 2024: Planned publication of the special issue

논문모집 : 『바둑학연구』 2024년 겨울호


국제바둑학회(ISGS) 공식학술지 『바둑학연구』의 2024년 겨울호 원고를 모집합니다. 12월 발간 예정인 19권 2호는 작년 여름 명지대학교에서 열렸던 제1회 국제학술대회 후속으로 8월 7일 프랑스 툴루즈에서 개최 예정인 제2회 국제학술대회(‘바둑계의 인공지능 이해하기 Understanding AI in the Go World’)의 성과를 알리는 특집 중심으로 구성될 예정입니다.

ISGS의 문호는 학술대회 발표자 외의 연구자들께도 열려 있습니다. 본지는 인공지능의 기술적 측면(알고리즘/딥러닝/신경망)에 국한되지 않은 포괄적 학제연구를 지향하오니, 바둑학에 관심이 있는 분들의 많은 참여를 바랍니다. 세부주제는 다음과 같습니다.

- 인공지능이 바둑 전략/전술에 미친 영향
- 인공지능이 가져온 학습 또는 지식 체계의 혁신
- 바둑에 대한 인문학적 시각 또는 관점 변화
- 인공지능이 착수의 결정에 미친 영향
- 인간과 기술의 상호작용
- 인공지능의 문화적, 사회적, 인지적 효과
- 윤리적 문제

인공지능 외의 주제를 다룬 일반논문 기고도 환영합니다.
