Call for papers: Journal of Go Studies 2025 2nd Issue

We are delighted to announce the call for submissions for this year's upcoming issue of the Journal of Go Studies. This special edition features a dedicated section entitled "Connecting the World through Go," commemorating the 3rd ISGS International Conference which was held in Warsaw on July 23rd.

This special issue seeks to enrich scholarly dialogue by incorporating both traditional and contemporary perspectives that inform our understanding of Go as a mode of inquiry and knowledge. We envision this publication as a dynamic forum where disciplinary boundaries are transcended, and where examinations of Go through the lenses of education, cultural promotion, and international exchange will foster innovative reconceptualizations of the traditionally separate domains of Go practice and its underlying epistemological foundations.

We always welcome theoretical, conceptual, as well as empirical contributions that address implications for Go studies in general.
