Dear Members!

The first issue of our "Journal of Go Studies" in 2024, commemorating its 20th anniversary and featuring memoirs of honorary professors and five research articles, was released on May 31st and is available in PDF on our website. Our conference will be held on August 7th during the European Go Congress in Toulouse, France, and will be live-streamed on Zoom; we thank the EGC team for their support.

2024 marks the 20th anniversary of Journal of Go Studies. The Journal wants to commemorate this anniversary with a special issue dedicated to the question of the legacy and continuing relevance of ISGS, under the title of‘Retrospect and Prospect’. Messages from the ISGS President

Dear members of ISGS, Already one week has passed since December. The International Society of Go Studies was founded in February, and the International Conference on Go was held in August. Now, the second edition of the Journal of Go Studies is published. To sum up, it takes only one line to complete, but the process has literally been eventful. However, thanks to your interest and support, the first year of the ISGS has ended well.
